Pastor Juan Miguel Paredes has served the Lord since age seventeen, with prayer as the foundation of his ministry. He launched the global outreach ministry "Tap Me If You Need Prayer" and is the founding senior pastor of Zealous Christian Church, working alongside his wife of twenty-six years and their six children. Miguel holds an associate degree in Christian Ministries from Belhaven University and is certified as a mental health liaison through Lighthouse Christian Ministries. He has addressed both physical and spiritual emergencies and has supported senior communities in the nonprofit sector for fifteen years. Pastor Miguel is committed to empowering others to thrive. As an artist, he values nature, music, and photography.

Betsy Paredes, First Lady of Zealous Christian Church, supports Pastor Miguel in pastoral care and manages the ministry’s logistical and administrative operations. She holds a bachelor's degree in Business Management. For the past decade, Betsy has taught middle school English in Lake County and has served in a pastoral role, focusing on youth ministry.

Pastor Miguel and First Lady Betsy are raising their six children, from elementary age to adulthood, with an emphasis on reverence for the Lord. They consider family their most important responsibility before God.
